Our holdings for children include almost 6,000 books, both fiction and non fiction board books, picture books, easy readers, juvenile and young adult chapter books. The young adult (YA) collection is housed separately, at the top of the stairs to the right in the Clayton Dolloff Room.
Books with accompanying cassettes or audio CD’s are available to borrow as well.
Two comfortable rocking chairs, a child’s table and chairs, a desk with magnetic letters and several toys keep our young patrons entertained in the Children’s Room. A “Story Time” reading event is also offered to children in this room.
